About the Author: Roopal Kewalya is a screenwriter for Netflix and other leading OTT platforms. She is an NID film alumna, and her short film, THE FLYMAN, travelled across the globe to over 15 leading international film festivals and won the Best Foreign Language Film Award at the Boston International Kids Film Festival. Roopal is also the author of her climate fiction book, THE LITTLE RAINMAKER, that was among the Top 20 across the world in the Times Chickenhouse Competition, London, and is on the World Kid List on Climate, Environment, and Sustainability, among other leading international titles. She is currently working as Writer/Director on her debut feature film, TIGADI which was a part of the NFDC Screenwriters Lab and Cinevesture Film Market at Chandigarh in 2024.
About the Illustrator: Swati Chandak Sharma is a versatile artist and a postgraduate of the National Institute of Design with a focus on visual communication. Her art is a testament to her keen observation of the intricate beauty of nature. Through her work, she joyfully celebrates the interplay of colour, form, texture and meticulous detail.
