About The Author
Dr Satya Dev Gupta was born on January 11, 1944, in the remote village of Manikpura near the river Chambal, in Agra (Uttar Pradesh). He presently resides in Bhubaneshwar (Odisha). He is a former Principal Scientist, Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneshwar, India, and recipient of the ICAR Team Leader Award for Outstanding Team Research for the biennium 2003-2004 and the ICAR one time Achievement Award for Cryopreservation of Carp milt.
